Mount Everest, head of the sky.
Here I am at the bottom of Mount Everest.
I am about to hike it!
I now have an oxygen tank strapped to my back... I have a feeling that I am going to need more than one oxygen tank.
My instructor is going through the safety procedure so that everyone understands what to do in case of an emergency. IM NOT LISTENING.
I am too focused on his overly tight leather pants that look like they are painted on. And his fluorescent shirt with palm trees lining the collar...
He looked like the gay version of Michael Jackson!
Then we start on the mountain. It took us 13 hours to climb to the top and when the instructor found me face done he thought I was dead. SO HE STARTED THE SAFETY PROCEDURE!
I told him that it was ok and he gave me a nasty look as I climbed to my feet.
When I finally got to my feet and looked around! It was A-MAZ-ING!
I could hear the wind blowing across the top of the mountain and I couldn't see anything but snow and cliffs.
It was breathtaking...
We decided to camp for the night and start climbing down first thing tomorrow morning.
I really didn’t like the bit when he said the first thing in the morning... I always considered myself as a bum because I got up at 12 had breaky went back to bed until 4 and then started on making dinner. Shortly after I would be back in bed.
We set up camp and fell asleep almost instantly.
He wasn't joking when he said first thing in the morning.
We climbed down and it took over 15 hours to get back down because I stumbled so many times.
I got back to my hotel and collapsed onto my wonkyfied bed and began my normal routine.
Ttyl
Luv ya
